Woodroffe ’66. The first stop along the way for a shy guy from Quebec. The memories? Playing Tigers basketball and discovering acting in “I Remember Mama”. Jumping on Harry’s motorbike to go to the A&W or up to Pinks’ Lake. Piling in Laing’s van and heading out to The Grove. Meeting Scottie and finally understanding why Minister’s sons have the reputation they do. Enjoying a coming of age first beer at the Prescott. Sweating the departmentals and somehow avoiding a victory lap. Meeting new people and making new friends. Woodroffe may not have been the best place in the world in ‘66. It just seemed that way back then. Hope to see some familiar faces this May.
